In it Wilma came to me and said, "Jim, the water shut off in the house and we need water."
"No problem I'll fix it," I quickly replied.
So what I did was hop in a big D-C9 caterpillar and tried to fix a water pipe in her back yard. But without any warning I hit a main water pipe and water came shooting out of everywhere. It was spraying out in Wilma's sink, her toilets, just everywhere. It was clean water but it was coming from all over the place.
I said to myself, “Oh my lord, Wilma is going to be so mad at me; I'm messing up everything.”
I went around into the house and told her I was so sorry. Her response surprised me.
"No, it's ok, this is exactly what I wanted. This is what I've been asking for; this is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. Don't be sorry. I've wanted this."

Begin a Church in Peru!

From a dream, to supernatural water on the floor,
to a new church!
This extreme God story began about 4 and a half years ago on a ministry trip in Lima, Peru. Jerry Venette, a fellow team member and I were staying with a hospitable couple, Mr. & Mrs. Grandez. Hungry for more of God, the wife, Wilma, asked me to pray for her and three lady friends the next day, to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
That night I had a dream.
That was the end of my dream.
In the morning her three friends arrived for prayer. Usually I wouldn't do this type of prayer, a group of women with us two men. But these women were completely in love with God, so I made the exception. I'm so glad I did.
We began to wait on the Holy Spirit .
So there I am with Jerry and we're all just sitting there, and I'm praying, "Lord, how do I invite your Holy Spirit into all these ladies?"
Jerry felt led to start telling these ladies about how his mother had never hugged him. He explained how he had gone through hard times with his mother. Jerry had never experienced a mother’s or a father's love.
Then Wilma gave Jerry a hug with the love of a mother. When that happened, he just started crying and weeping. Wilma started crying and then the other women and me. Although it was weeping, it was wonderful.
All of a sudden the presence of the Holy Spirit was there. The presence of God came in so thick that we fell on our knees and continued to weep for about an hour.
As the weeping ended these ladies began to speak in tongues. But the most incredible thing happened as well.
Their whole floor was completely covered in water!
It was just like someone had come into the room with a hose and soaked down the floor. Nothing natural could explain so much water on that floor.
Upon seeing that, the Spirit of prophecy came on me, and I began to prophesy that Wilma's house was called to be a house of God.
And that she would begin to invite people to her house for meetings.
And the water from the tears was signifying that God was going to open up her place
where the river of the Holy Spirit would flow.
People would come in and get clothed and fed. Healing, deliverance, and miracles would take place. Chains would be broken off of people.
The spirit of prophecy stayed on me for quite awhile. I prophesied that God would use her to establish a church. It would grow so much and so quickly that she would have to get a bigger place. Eventually it would grow so much that she would have to get another building and then another. And each time they would go to another level in the spirit because of the power and love that Wilma and these three ladies had with them.
Since then, in four years, they have gone from Wilma's house to a friend's bigger house. And now they're renting a building to accommodate the people. Wilma has a church now between 80-100 people. She also works with about 400 street children that she goes and visits about 3 times a week and teaches them the word of God. She feeds them about once a week as well.
The people that are at Wilma's church are all brand-new converts that have not come from other churches. These new believers in Jesus Christ have never been born-again before.
Like the pool of Bethesda, groups of people at a time have come to this church
and been healed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Wilma says a lot of people just show up to get healed because the power of the Holy Spirit is so great. Though she doesn't like it that people come to just get healed and leave, she allows this to happen believing that is part of her ministry. Most of her ministry has been made up of young woman and older ladies in their 40’s & 50’s, but recently men are starting to show up making up about 25% of her church.
Praise God for what one word of prophecy from His Spirit can do. It can plant a church!
